DMK gets New Nadar Community Organisation Support

DMK has struck an agreement with Perunthalaivar Makkal Katchi, a joint forum of the Nadar Community. It has alloted 1 seat to Perunthalaivar Makkal Katchi which it will contest in DMK symbol.

Perunthalaivar Makkal Katchi was formed recently by combining various Nadar organisations, however Sarath Kumar’s AISMK struck an alliance with AIADMK.

Finally DMK – Congress Seat Sharing Confirmation

Finally, finally after all the drama at the state & the centre, the seat sharing has been finalised between DMK & Congress. 7 year partnership was put to test during the course of last fortnight by tough and unrelenting bargaining on both sides.

DMK-Congree alliance has split wide open. The Seat Sharing arrangement (60seats for Congress) has been “dropped”. DMK says it is Congress’ fault esp. the home minister PC is responsible for the situation.

DMK Alliance – VCK

Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) has been given 10 seats to contest as part of the DMK alliance.

After demanding 25 seats, VCK has settled for 10.

In 2006, VCK had fought 9 seats as part of the AIADMK alliance & won 2.

Seat Sharing PMK

PMK has got 31seats to contest in the elections as part of the DMK+Congress+ alliance.

Now the next big news is to wait to see how many seats Congress will contest from.
