AIADMK today released it’s list of candidates from 160 constituencies. Going by the response from Communist Parties it seems all is not well in the AIADMK alliance. Is AIADMK over confident of it’s victory? It seems so, given that it has unilaterally declared it’s candidate list without consulting its allies.

CPI & CPI(M) have finalised seat-sharing for the upcoming elections with AIADMK. CPI will contest from 10 seats while CPI(M) will contest from 12 seats.
This paves the way for a near-full picture of the AIADMK led alliance. Only MDMK is still to sign a pact in the alliance.

Finally, finally after all the drama at the state & the centre, the seat sharing has been finalised between DMK & Congress. 7 year partnership was put to test during the course of last fortnight by tough and unrelenting bargaining on both sides.

DMK-Congree alliance has split wide open. The Seat Sharing arrangement (60seats for Congress) has been “dropped”. DMK says it is Congress’ fault esp. the home minister PC is responsible for the situation.
